How many bike messengers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
One.
But by the time you heard the story it was epic, it was brutal, it was so much more hardcore, it was ten hour days back in the day, pulling down 65 tags, riding 75 miles covering Georgetown to the U-district, Bainbridge Island to Bellevue. Rolling out of RVs with 30 drops and 30 picks to do before the next one. There were over 200 messengers in Seattle and all of them were making over $200 per day.

This is definitely my favorite 'stock' Pilderwasser photo. im a sucker for film, but it's also just a good interesting photo. it's saying a lot but every time I want to know what's happening.
it's a Fleetfoot thing on the sidewalk in front of 1201 3rd. Formerly known as the Washington Mutual Tower, now it's actually called 1201. And yes that's Travis in there, formerly known as 07, now he's actually called Travis. Taken on a camera with with a thing called black & white film, like the old man said.
