Hello Mark- BRAVO, for finally wanting "to get out for good". I can only imagine though how tough it may be to part ways with the energy & friendliness of the city and the mere camaraderie of the cool people who messenger with you. YOu may remember me as Dave Pusey's ( a former messenger for PNP) girlfriend, and maybe not, but I can tell you that he was so happy when he finally made that step. It really will take will power and encouragement from people around you. Good luck and maybe go back to school?? I thought i saw you in front of monorail a couple days ago and I thought "that guy is still messengering!!??" ;)

I like reading the comments on the PI website about the article- pretty much all of them say "good riddance". Apparently everyone who reads the PI hates bike messengers.

Howdy, I remember Dave getting a non messenger job 1999ish. Did you work at Stoel Rives? I appreciate your encouragement.

You know those comments reminded me of what you see on Craigslist. Really one sided and from really sad, bored people. But the looks and comments I've gotten in the last two days from office workers and receptionists was overly positive. Give people an anonymous outlet to post their base feelings, and you get 80+ comments of hatred. Oh well.
