Jesus, I remember those things. We used to refuse to work on them at a shop I worked at many years ago. We may have been snobs, and almost definitely assholes, but we had to draw the line. Those bikes were just horrible in every way.

I agree. The little fly-wheel auto-shift gimmick is their hook but it’s just another unnecessary reinvention of the wheel one can add to the endless list of bike world reinventions. Not only that but everything on the bike is total cheap-ass lowest-quality mass-production chinese-factory shit. Horrible. At Bike Works as these bikes arrived in donation dumpsters we would throw them as hard as we could directly into the scrap metal dumpster. The front suspension and seatpost make my teeth hurt like a TMJ stress dream full of piles of shit bike donations.
