True story truly. Those little nondescript peds in the picture walked by me looking down into their phones mumbling Google mapping the waterfront or the sculpture park or Dale Chihuly chuffers absolutely oblivious to their surroundings putting all their faith in an untested app developed in some other time zone. They could have walked right into me all up in Jazz Alley. They could have walked into an open manhole just like Wylie Coyote. They could have walked into my favorite gravel pit just one block further north. They could have walked into an amazing afternoon if they turned off their phones and looked around.
