As I roll around the scenic 700 acre campus I like to think U-dub renamed Stevens Way for Jerramy Stevens, and it’s no longer just good old Isaac Stevens, the first territorial governor of Washington. (Hope Solo should get a street too somewhere over by the IMA one of these days) Slick Rick Neuheisel, Dawgfather Don James, Kalen DeBoer and every other big-time college football coach over the years has always had a pocket full of get-out-of-jail-free cards for each and every potential NFL player on their roster. These handy cards ease the transition from high school transgressions though big time college football careers and hopefully onto time in the NFL, where those cards are renewed and strengthened.
