There are times when I find myself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife and two kids and a chocolate lab and I ask myself, well...how did I get here? There are times when I ponder the sequence of variables that had to fall into place for certain events to take place, forks in the road, decisions, indecisions, choices, chances or so-called happenstances. That road trip to Blaine in the deep snows of Christmas 2008 was a fork in the road for sure and one that made all the difference.
