Yeah, interesting. So if I climb Pend Oreille Road, coming in through the East Gate of UW on my $9,000 electric assist cargo bike, and Strava says I put out 960 watts for the effort but I'm not even in the top 10 for all time of times up that climb, how many of the other cyclists on that Strava leaderboard were on un-assisted bikes? In other words, what are the chances that there are at least 10 local cyclists who have made ever made that climb that can put out Merckx like power for 25 seconds or so? I think it's pretty unlikely.
